PROTECTED TRANSFER SYSTEM (PTX)

The PTX is a class-approved Emergency Release Coupling System which is designed to provide a dry close to the cargo hoses during unplanned or emergency separation within the Ship-to Ship (STS) transfer of crude and refined products.

Very quickly and easily installed at the manifold, the PTX draws upon proven technology which is already mandatory within the STS of LNG to deliver immediate improvement to the ALARP risk profile of any such operation.

Upon remote activation, it has the ability to prevent injury and damage to:

• Personnel
• Transfer equipment
• Vessel infrastructure (manifolds, cranes) and associated vessel downtime
• Environment (spill)
• Reputation
