In October 2012 Future Marine Services Ltd took delivery of a 40 Ton Bollard Pull AZD Tug Boat. She was put to work immediately supporting ship to ship transfer operations off Southwold and has proven herself more than fit for purpose. Resplendent in company colours and post dry dock modifications she has been re-named MV “Safe Supporter 1”.

George Tweed has recently joined our Operations Team. His previous experience in the Shipping and Marine industry is proving to be very beneficial to the company. George is certainly a chirpy character and keeps us all on our toes with his humour!
Malta - new base

Malta base was opened in June 2012. The base is proving to be a real success story and our second set of equipment is already there. Having 2 sets of fenders allows us to conduct two operations at the same time!

We are pleased to announce that Richard Gourlay has recently accepted a permanent role as Marine & Logistics Co-ordinator, working closely with Rachel Skidmore, our Operations Manager. Richard has strong logistical skills and has proven to have an excellent rapport with our customers. Gemma Lear (nee Hull) has also accepted a permanent role as Operations Administrator and keeps both the Operations team & the Mooring Masters on their toes with her exceptional admin skills.

Melilla – 3 successful operations conducted for major international client

SafeSTS have recently completed 3 successful operations offshore Melilla, a Spanish enclave in Morocco. The Melilla STS location is approx. 13 miles offshore and all operations are conducted in international waters. Fenmar Senas Ltd assisted in the logistical aspect of the STS operation and Agency attendance was overseen by Wilhelmsen Ships Service.
Joint Venture Partnership in Gibraltar

SafeSTS have recently signed a Joint Venture agreement with Fenmar Senas Ltd, who will act as our local business partner for all Gibraltar STS operations. The STS licence is now in place and all the equipment is prepared and ready for mobilisation.
