SafeSTS is a dedicated Ship-to-Ship (STS) transfer company.
Through our global network of bases we carry out the transfer of oil, gas and, in some cases, dry cargoes. All operations are in strict accordance with ICS/OCIMF and SIGTTO guidelines, using the highest quality equipment and a highly trained team of STS Superintendents.
SafeSTS is owned and operated by directors with over 25 years experience working within the lightering industry and supported by a highly professional team of operational and administrative staff.
Our head office is based in the UK, with regional offices in Gibraltar and Singapore.

Our Local Base in Melilla
Our focus is on the highest quality and the highest levels of customer care. Our principals were instrumental in setting up and co-writing standards for both the equipment and the procedures used in Ship-to-Ship transfer services, so naturally we have a strong desire to continue this good work.
In addition to our office teams, our pool of Mooring Masters were all handpicked for their experience and known operating standards. They are subject to a strict pass out procedure and are audited on a regular basis. We will be establishing our own training procedures for new recruits.
